Holiday Photo Cards from Minted
I just received my first Christmas cards yesterday and I couldn't believe it! Sending and receiving Holiday cards is one of my favorite things. I love seeing how everyone's kids are growing over the years and since most of our family lives farther away, I love being able to send them cards with pictures of how quickly our own boys are growing.
There are so many great options online for cards but one of my favorite places to order Holiday cards is Minted. Their cards are beautiful, from foil printing to letterpress, there is a style for everyone. They offer unique designs that are completely customizable from their community of over 15, 000 independent artists. You can even upload your picture and it will give you a preview of what it will look like on each card which helps you narrow down your favorite. They also make ordering cards a little less stressful with their free address printing. It leaves us a little more time to focus on the more important things this holiday season, like cooking baking and that pile of laundry. Right now Minted has 20% off your order with code HolidayJoy. Even better, if you join the minted more program, you get 30% off plus a free welcome kit which includes cute gift bags, tags, ribbons, a coloring book and colored pencils and discounts for future orders. This has paid for itself many times over the last year so personally I think it is worth it.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE CONTINUED
Continuing with my NSale picks, I'm sharing all the kids, baby and beauty finds today. Reminder that if the sale hasn't yet opened up for you, you can create wishlists so that you are ready to go when it does. Items sell out very quickly, so it's best to be prepared.
If you're expecting, now is a great time to purchase your stroller, car seat, etc. we have the Nuna car seat and absolutely love it! Another favorite is the Stokke high chair. We still have our old one from the older kids that is used by everyone, including myself. Also the cutest Joe's Jeans for the babes for only $15!

I RECEIVED THIS HOURGLASS BROW SHAPER AS A SAMPLE AND I REALLY LIKE IT. I HAD TRIED A DIFFERENT BRAND THAT MADE MY BROWS ALL CRUNCHY AND LOOK FLAKY AFTER AWHILE AND YOU CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU HAVE ANYTHING ON WITH THIS ONE BUT HOLDS THEM IN PLACE.
LIPS: I'M NOT A BIG LIPSTICK GIRL SO THIS SUGAR LIP IS MY GO TO IN ALL SHADES
OUR NEVER ENDING WINTER HAS TAKEN A TOLL ON MY LIPS. THEY WERE CONSTANTLY CHAPPED UNTIL I FINALLY CAVED AND GOT THIS LIP MASK.

I STARTED USING THE SUNDAY RILEY BRIGHTENING SERUM BECAUSE HS TANNING BED REGRET IS SHOWING ITS UGLY FACE AND IT'S NOT ONLY LIGHTWEIGHT IT'S BEEN BRIGHTENING MY SKIN TOO. I HEAR GREAT THINGS ABOUT ALL THEIR PRODUCTS SO I MAY TRY THIS LITTLE TRIO SET.

BALLARD DESIGNS SALE
Ballard Designs has a great sale going on right now through 5/11! 25% off of lighting, rugs, and wall decor. We often source from BD as they have great selection of lighting, rugs and art at good price points. I've also been happy with their quality as well. Below are some of my favorites from each sale category.
Lighting
I'm kind of obsessed with this new Aerlie pendant. A little bit of glam for a beachside retreat. Would look great in a bathroom!
Also loving this Aberdeen chandelier. I could see this paired with dark walls in a dining room.
These lauren lamps are great for a bedroom. I especially love the colors and they would look so cute in a little girls room too.
What a great price point for a flush mount light fixture. It looks way more expensive then it actually is. I may be adding this to my half bath.
A simple yet modern reading lamp. You can adjust the shade as well.
For an easy update, try switching out your lampshades on your current lamps. These painted ones will make a statement.
ART
I always gravitate to abstract art and these are my favorite colors. I love how they're shown stacked or pair above a bed or above a sofa. This color looks great with blue/navy accents too.
These would be adorable in a little boys nautical room. Or if you live near the beach in a mudroom. There are even more designs online if you'd want to create a bigger gallery.
I'm drawn to this every time I browse their art. This would be beautiful in a white office or above a fireplace mantle and with blush accents.
A simple gallery collection is always a good idea. I especially love a clean gallery in a hallway. Place a console table below with a lamp and a decorative fern and you have yourself a welcoming space.
This piece is on trend with all the bohemian over dyed blue pillow prints. I recently just got these Magnolia Home pillows and this art would pair well with them.
A more wallet friendly version of a Chinoiserie reproduction. These feature a nailhead trim too. These would be beautiful paired above bedside tables.
Rugs
Both of these colorways look great in this diamond sisal rug
I'm in LOVE with this rug! I recently used it for a clients living room and it's gorgeous. I actually want an antelope runner so I can't decide if I want to wait until I do that or update my living room rug with this option.
I love the simple pattern of this jute rug. Would be a great runner in a kitchen or a rug for under the table.
Gorgeous color selection of striped rugs. Would be cute in kids bedrooms.
A personalized welcoming may of course!
I have yet to see this rug in person but it always catches my eye. If you're going for the Turkish rug look. It don't want to spend the money on one, this could be a great alternative.

NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE HOME DECOR
I had the chance to browse the home section of the anniversary sale and there are some great items on sale in the store and even more online. Including Dash & Albert rugs! Here's a round up of some of my favorite home decor items.
Great rug options available online!
Love this woven basket to use as a hamper or to store extra throw blankets and pillows. Also makes a great toy basket as well. I spotted these denim pillows in the store and love the colors. This is a great simple side table with a great price $49! I love this beach print but it's on the smaller side so would be a great bathroom print. They also have some pretty amazing throw blankets as well. I love this chunky cableknit one and the pom-poms on the other one.
Moving on to the kitchen and bath items I think the kitchen items were my favorite. They have some amazing marble and wood cutting boards and the 3 that store in the wooden holder....love this! Great gifts too. I'm obsessed with these hammered stemless champagne flutes and a matching copper bar set. I love the turkish towels for gifts and these initial ones are a great one to send off to college students. The yellow striped kitchen hand towel comes in a lot more colors online too. Archipelago candles on sale, woot! These brass bathroom accessories from waterworks are only available online but they look amazing. Jonathan Adler zebra trinket trays on sale too! and how pretty are these blue stacking bowls that are sold as a set.

BEST SALE OF THE YEAR: NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE
As most of you know, the Nordstrom Pre-Anniversary Sale is here! The one sale where you get to stock up on Fall Fashion early. Prices go up August 8th. Early access for Nordstrom card holders began today and opens up to the public July 22nd. This is a great time to stock up on Fall essentials.
Before we dive in I'm going to share a couple tips and tricks to shopping the #nsale. I personally love to shop for the staples, jeans, boots, outerwear. Things that I know I need for fall. These rag & bone jeans were my favorite that I tried on in the store.
This is a great price and it's so soft. I wouldn't normally wear black underneath it. Instead of pair a cream top but I didn't have one and wanted to show how it fit.
I grabbed these items last minute and ended up loving them. These leggings are going to be a staple in a fall wardrobe paired with boots, booties or even casual vans. The sleeveless turtleneck is a cute transition piece that could be layered over a long sleeved top and only $27.

Friday Finds Preview of Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
How is it that the Anniversary Sale is already here? I always think of back to school shopping since I get the kids their shoes but it seems to have popped up so early this year. Maybe it's because I'm in denial of colder weather just months away. But then again we have Fall clothes shopping to look forward to and Fall clothing is my favorite!
