HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE FOR HER

This was the easiest gift guide to put together and I could have kept going. Some of these items are on my wish list and a couple of these are some of my favorite items. So many goodies to choose from for her!

1. This gorgeous coat from J. Crew was on my list last year and they have even more colors to choose from this year. It sells out quickly so you may want to hurry on this one.

2. Cable-knit Cream Fur Pom Pom Beanie from J. Crew. She can never have enough fur pom pom hats.

3. This India Hicks scarf is a gorgeous color! I have the gray and navy one and love it but this is a perfect accent color that looks good on almost everyone.

4.  Sperry Boots from J.Crew. They come in a shorter version as well (which I have and love) but the taller ones would be better for snow.

5. Clare Vivier Clutch. A favorite of mine! (Up to 25% off with code GOBIG15)

6. This is like heaven in a bottle for your skin. Ever Skincare overnight facial oil

7.  Fringe is in and this Stella & Dot Statement necklace is sure to be loved by her. Plus when you spend $50 you get $25 in Dot Dollars

8. A Little Black Crossbody Bag that can be used as a wallet as well.

9. Great personalized gift for you BFF. They have the cutest designs and their weekly planner is awesome!! 40% off right now too! No code needed

10. This is the freshest and prettiest scent from India Hicks. Perfect little rollerball to keep in her purse. The wild spiderlily is my favorite scent but the english rose smells just as heavenly.

12. Keep her cozy with these cute navy polka dot J. Crew pajamas

13. So many cute choices I couldn't just pick one. These Amicale Cashmere slippers come with a reuse-able pouch as well

14. I think I need this mug

15. Lumee cell phone case. I'm not a huge selfie taker but for those that are this is the PERFECT gift for them. It lights up on the selfie side on the phone and you can turn it off when not using. It's also great when you're trying to take a group selfie in a dark space.

16. Have you seen the handle on this Leighton Umbrella? This may be one of my wish list items. A certain 6 year decided to snap mine in half.

17. Coffee table books make great gifts and the color of this Kate Spade one is gorgeous! Plus it's filled with old world glamour, places to go, people to see and much more.

18. Want to spoil her? Surprise her with this Hermes cuff

19. I wish I was cool enough to wear these but I'm not. These FRENDS headphones are HOT! They fit over your earrings too

20. One of my favorite scented candles from Anthropologie  and how cute is this pineapple one?

21. Great stocking stuffer!!! I've tried a couple of these $6 masks from Sephora and have loved them all.

22. Anyone else's cell phone always dead? Yeah, mine too! Super cute battery backup. Stocking stuffer idea!

23. Enough said.

24. The gift that keeps giving. The FabFitFun box arrives year round filled with new goodies for her to try.

HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE WEEK!

I'm so excited to be kicking my Holoday Gift Guide off this week!! I put together some lists of my some of my favorite gifts to help make your holiday shopping easy this year. With gifts for everyone I'll be kicking this week off with the men in our lives. They're probably the hardest to shop for or at least they are for me. At the end of my Holiday Gift Guide I'll be giving away a couple of my favorite things!

1.  I tend to like to give funny yet useful gifts to the men in my life and The Man Can does just that. It's on sale right now too!

2.  Who doesn't love a new pair of kicks? I also like the navy colorway too! Nike Air Max Sneakers

3. For the whiskey drinker in your life, the Whiskey Wedge keeps your whiskey cold without diluting it.

4. We need someone to keep our fires warm and toasty for us so why not make it easier for them. This firewood carrier is supposed to carry all the firewood you can handle. Leather handles and 2 color options. I like the green one.

5. I've found Sorel boots are some of the warmest out there. Some can be bulky but these would be great for that special guy when you're living under 100 inches of snow and your ankles hurt from wearing the big clunky ones. Maybe he won't complain about carrying firewood inside.

6. My husband was just saying he wish he had lined pants for when you're going to be outside for a longer duration and the next day I spotted these Fireside Flannels from Bonobos. There are a couple other color options.

7. A guy can never have too many fun socks. Happy Socks have so many fun prints to choose from too

8. One of my favorite things to gift is monogrammed or engraved items. Maybe because I love them myself but I also feel like it's more personal. These Stella & Dot cuff links can be engraved with his initials. There's a bonus for you too. Today only you can get the tassle scarf for $14.95 with a purchase and also get $25 Dot Dollars to use in Jan. Bonus Christmas gift for you!!!

9. I may have included this because I sort of want one too. For the guy who doesn't like to wear a scarf but wants to stay warm this is the perfect alternative from UrbanOutfitters

10. Christmas wouldn't be complete without holiday pajamas. These plaid ones are on sale over at J.Crew Factory

11. Never be without a bottle opener with this hand stamped Like a Boss keychain

12. SPREADABLE BACON JAMS.....enough said

13. As if we don't own enough Apple products but there are some pretty cool features that come only with the Apple Watch

14. Espresso on the go?! I know a couple guys who would like this MiniPresso

15. For the traveling men in your life a little Traveling Cocktail Kit to help relieve some stress

16. And something to store his Traveling Cocktail Kit, a new leather Mark & Graham briefcase, with his initials of course.

17. I could seriously walk out of the house everyday with these #shitshow loafers. If they weren't so expensive they would be showing up at a yankee swap for sure!

18. Remind your man you're thinking about him with this Hey Handsome Traveling Bag

19. Instead of giving just the average tie gift one of these cute boxes from The Tie Bar

20. Jimmy Fallon created this iphone cover idea for J.Crew and you can even interchange them out. Even better, all of the net proceeds benefit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a Kenya-based charity that protects Africa's elephants from ivory poaching and extinction.

21. If you really want to WOW him surprise him with this Sonos System. I have to say it's pretty amazing. My favorite feature is that you can play different songs in different rooms of the house and the guy at Best Buy will tell you about the rest of it.

22. These Patagonia jackets are a favorite of mine. Packable and lightweight yet still warm.

23. Your guys favorite football teams warm up winter hat. A gift already purchased for my little guys.

24. Men love their tools and my husband is always complaining that I lost something of his. Me, lose something? Ha, yah right! But since I NEVER lose anything (especially tools) maybe we need this all in one tool around our house and I can even get his name on it

25. This is something interesting I stumbled upon. Yes, you could easily scan your own pages and save them but we all know that never happens. Keep track of memories, projects, doodles and more with the Mod Notebook

Share some of your favorite gift items in the comments section for a chance to win my favorite things at the end of the week!

How to create a beautiful table setting

This week I'm sharing tips and inspiration photos on creating a beautiful tablescape for Thanksgiving. Let's be honest, we're all too busy to get all fancy and so that's why I'm here to help you pull together something beautiful with things we have laying around the house.

Layer colorful vases and candles in the center. Add pops of color with bright flowers and brightly colored fruit like oranges and pomegranates and tie the look together with coordinating table linens.

Reuse the pumpkins sitting around from Halloween for your centerpiece and build around that. Add some natural elements from outside as fillers with a couple of tealights. Simple linens (I'm obsessed with these from Serena & Lily) and gold silverware to add some warmth.

I'm loving the birch look and these are actually candleholders. Line them on the table with some pine cones. The kids will love searching for them and saying they helped decorate. I like these natural placemats with the gingham napkin. Tie some twine around them and you're good to go.

Fall Bootie Favorites

One of the best parts about fall is obviously the clothes and shoes, right?! Besides a fun heel, boots are probably one of my favorites, especially if they're comfortable. I'm loving booties lately and have been asked by a couple friends what my favorites are so I thought I'd do a little roundup of some booties. Over the years I've learned that there are some things you should invest in and some things you can get away with the frugal option. Purchasing a good pair of boots is one of those investments, especially snow boots in New England!

There are some amazing sales going on right now with some of these boots! The links to shop are listed below.

RIDING BOOTS:

Brown Tall Boots // Black Tall Boots   MAJOR SALE!!!! like too good to pass up sale

Struggle with how to wear or cuff your jeans in booties? Here are some cute looks that show you how to style them

Probably my go to with jeans and booties. Cuffing them and leaving a little ankle exposed. Make sure you can't see your sock when wearing this way.

Relaxed boyfriend jeans with relaxed booties

Here a skinnier Jean/jegging works well with a wedge bootie.

I love the color of these over the knee boots that she paired over leggings
This is a trend that took me awhile to get into because if not styled or paired the correct way they can make your legs look short. So I stick with a dressier black bootie with a low opening.
This whole outfit is just adorable and that red leather clutch! I may be saving this look for Christmas this year.

Wrapping Up a Great Halloween Weekend

Phew....that's a wrap!! Anyone else feel like this past week was chaos? I know I have and for the first time ever I already have my Halloween decor down and started making a Christmas list for the kids. Mostly because we were lazy and laid on the couch in a sugar coma all day yesterday.

Here's a little recap of our fun Halloween week. P.S. Never show your child Pinterest for pumpkin carving ideas.
This was also our second time dressing up as a Star Wars family. Hubs wins award for best costume 😜

Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend!
