Dining Al Fresco with All Modern

This post is sponsored by AllModern, but all text, images, and opinions are all my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that keep The Style Nest running!

I'm all about the outdoor spaces right now and with social distancing measures in place for the foreseeable future, it's time to savor every moment we can outdoors while the weather is nice. Whether that's enjoying your morning coffee in peace and quiet (not sure what those last words actually mean that I just muttered), hosting a safe 4th of July gathering or inviting a couple girlfriends over for outdoor belinis, it really is one of the joys of spending more time at home.

I was excited to get creative with some of the selections that All Modern offers for dining al fresco and that included finding some great accessories that can be found in departments other then the outdoor section, yep, I'm talking about bathroom trays to hold your fruit and washcloths for guests as their napkins. It's fun to think outside the box and have items that serve multiple uses in your home.

I updated our outdoor seating with these new woven chairs that are so lightweight and stackable which make them a great option for extra seating. I love the modern vibe it gives the space and they look great against our new planters which are really starting to take off. These also look great paired as a set with a cocktail table in between.

Since our patio is down a flight of stairs I like to minimize my trips going up and down and this metal basket services the purpose of carrying everything I need to dine al fresco. When you're finished setting up your table, you could fill with large seltzer waters for your guests.

When entertaining I like to choose serving pieces that are different and pair them with simple white plates and simple linens. I love this metal linear tray that I used to hold croissants but it would also serve as a great fruit bowl too.

The serving tray holding the peaches is actually a bathroom tray but I decided to use it for my fruit. I just love the pattern of it and like having a smaller serving tray to hold fruit, crackers or mini cookies.

These organic napkins are actually washcloths but I loved the look of them so much I decided to use them for napkins. I like the smaller size for outdoor entertaining. They come in a variety of colors and I think they actually make a great napkin if I do say so myself and being organic cotton is an extra bonus.

You can't forget the flowers when dining al fresco and I love leather detail on this vase, it may be my favorite. The blush color is so pretty in person and you can use as a candle holder or a vase to hold those beautiful hydrangeas. Just depends what time of day you're eating.

Miss Finley also enjoy dining al fresco, actually she would enjoy dining anywhere. As long as there are table scraps she can steal.

Peach Bellini Recipe:

2 ripe peaches, seeded and diced
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 bottle chilled prosecco sparkling wine

Place the peaches, lemon juice, and sugar in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade and process until smooth. Press the mixture through a sieve and discard the peach solids in the sieve. Place 2 tablespoons of the peach puree into each Champagne glass and fill with cold prosecco. Garnish with peaches and mint and serve immediately.
