A Simple Thanksgiving Table
Just like that, it's November and it's dark at 4PM and everyone is putting up Christmas trees and poor Thanksgiving is being left in the dust. To be honest, I am anxious to decorate as well. I'm not sure if it's that we're looking forward to things that make us happier or that we're just trying to get on with this year but I'm here for all the decorating and trying to make the holidays at home as memorable as possible in 2020. We may not be celebrating with large family or friend gatherings but we can still create a beautiful setting for the ones we love.
When it comes to decorating for Thanksgiving, I like to mix in pieces that can be used year round and coordinate with my holiday decor. I like to use different textures and materials and go with more of a neutral color scheme that also coordinates with my holiday decor. There's no need to spend a lot of money. Gather some branches from your yard and fill a large vase like this beautiful black one and use it as the centerpiece of your table for some drama. Add different height candle sticks down the table that can be used on your mantle afterwards for Christmas. Those little white sugar pumpkins you bought for Halloween also work great for little accents on the table. Get the kids involved and collect things on a walk, big leaves that you can use as place cards with each persons name written on them is another cute idea.
Here are some ideas to create a simple yet beautiful table setting for your loved ones at Thanksgiving. Home items are flying off the shelves before they even hit the shelves, so you may want to get a head start even though Thanksgiving is still a couple weeks away.

MY HOLIDAY INSPIRATION & DECOR ITEMS
I seriously don't know how we're into the first week of November already. I'm not sure if its that I've been in a newborn fog the last couple months or what but this has crept up on me so quickly. I'm starting to pull some holiday inspiration for this years decor. November and December are two of my favorite months of the year. Everything from the decorating, entertaining, fashion, spending time with family and friends and creating more memories with my kids. An even more exciting year this year because we have a new little bundle to cuddle.
Today I wanted to share my holiday inspiration for this year and things I'm looking to add to my collection and things that I'm loving. I like to plan out my spaces because it helps me not go super crazy when I'm out shopping because I tend to walk into a store and act like a kid in a candy store when I see holiday decorations. My head starts going crazy with all the things I could do and then I don't have the time to do those said things so a plan is what helps to keep me in check. My hope is that this post helps give you some holiday inspiration as well! These are all items that can carry you from Thanksgiving through Christmas.
