CREATE A BEAUTIFUL THANKSGIVING TABLE

Honestly how is Thanksgiving next week already? Even the kids said that November is flying by this year. I used to think I needed a month between Nov and Dec but now I think I need a month between Oct and Nov. I love Thanksgiving because it's all about gathering together and enjoying good food. No gifts, no added chaos, just added hours at the gym.

As I'm thinking up ideas for my Thanksgiving tablescape this year I found some beautiful inspiration ideas out there to help you create a beautiful setting for your table this year.

I love the black flatware paired with a more casual placemat and simple dish ware in StudioMcGees Thanksgiving setting

I absolutely love green / white pumpkins and magnolia leaves. There's just something about them that grabs my attention every time I see them. So there's no doubt I loved Miss Mustard Seeds use of them on her table.

Anything with gold in it I'm naturally drawn to and love the painted pumpkins with fresh flowers GigglesGalore used. And how cute are these napkins all wrapped up like a little gift?! Check out her blog for some even more place card ideas and some free printables as well.

With the use of neutrals in the dinnerware and linens it really makes the focus of this table the simple colorful center pieces and I love the rose gold stripes on the little sugar pumpkins from Homey oh my

I love bringing the outside inside to create beautiful spaces and there's nothing better then using free stuff from your backyard and glamming it up with a little gold spray paint. This chalkboard sign is pretty cool too!

Over at Apartment34 they incorporated food into their centerpiece which is what it's all about at Thanksgiving! The eggplant napkins pull it all together. I took some ideas from this to create mine last year and it was so easy.

I wish I had these same plates and silverware for our Thanksgiving table that Carrie over at makinglemonade used for her table setting.

How fun are all these place card ideas? I usually have the kids help out with this part.

Layer colorful vases and candles in the center. Add pops of color with bright flowers and brightly colored fruit like oranges and pomegranates and tie the look together with coordinating table linens.

Reuse the pumpkins sitting around from Halloween for your centerpiece and build around that. Add some natural elements from outside as fillers with a couple of tealights. Simple linens (I'm obsessed with these from Serena & Lily) and gold silverware to add some warmth.

I'm loving the birch look and these are actually candleholders. Line them on the table with some pine cones. The kids will love searching for them and saying they helped decorate. I like these natural placemats with the gingham napkin. Tie some twine around them and you're good to go.
